IT’S VOLUNTEERS WEEK!

Earlier this week, we attended the Runnymede & Spelthorne Awards, which were held at Royal Holloway University in conjunction with Voluntary Support North Surrey and the local authority. The Child Contact Centre here at The Village Centre won the Volunteer Team Award!

We were very proud to be amongst so many hard working and dedicated like minded charities and organisations, and so thrilled to win the Volunteer Team Award. A huge thank you to our dedicated team of volunteers who have been supporting this Outreach Programme for over 10 years, and tirelessly give their time at the weekends to ensure vulnerable children are able to spend time with family members that they wouldn’t normally be able to see.

This Volunteer Week, we’re so grateful for our amazing team of Village Centre volunteers. They really do keep the wheels turning – thank you to all of you who work so hard to serve our community.
